The Candidates
Leadership St. Tammany
seeks highly motivated emerging or existing leaders who live
or work in St.
Tammany Parish. The program’s recruitment and selection
process targets individuals who represent a cross-section of
the total community, including a racial, gender, age, geographic
and occupational mix reflective of the population at large.
The selection committee reviews each application before assembling
a class consisting of no more than 32 participants. Because diversity
is an important quality for the program, it is not unusual for
a participant to apply more than once before being accepted.
The selection committee will consider those applicants who:

Demonstrate a personal and long-term commitment to the
future of St. Tammany Parish. |

Have a record of involvement in community affairs. |

Are successful in their careers or vocations. |

Show potential for great leadership. |
